“We had been working on potty training our daughter for a few months. Meredith’s tips helped pushed us to the finish line. Through her, we found that motivating factor and in one day she went accident free!”

“Meredith has been so helpful with our son! Specifically around night time and how to help our 4 year old stop wetting the bed. Meredith is super passionate about what she does and has been such a great resource for our family! Thank you, Meredith.”

“I reached out to Meredith after continually struggling to get my 3.5 year old son pooping on the potty. he had been daytime trained (pee) for well over a year, but he had some anxiety and a lot of pushback when we even talked about pooping on the potty-he would only poop in his naptime or nighttime diapers. I wanted a gentle approach in order to reduce anxiety that we had both experienced up until that point in our journey. Dr. Meredith was the perfect fit. She had a free 15-minute phone consult with me and discussed how she could meet us where we were at and get us back on track. We scheduled our video call and she provided us with a personalized protocol that got my son pooping on the potty within days. A few months later, we are continuing to see success with absolutely no anxiety (child or parent)! I am forever grateful. Dr. Meredith has continued to provide support to us in more ways than I could have ever imagined and we are looking forward to celebrating even more wins in the future!

“Meredith was so helpful when working on potty training with my three year old. My toddler was very nervous about pooping in the potty and we had run into a wall when thinking of new ways to support her. I am so thankful we found Meredith at the right time. Her detailed potty play, zoom call and constant support during the transition was just what we needed. I am proud to see my daughter no longer has a fear of pooping on the potty. Thank you, Meredith!”

The Potty Coach

Hi, I’m Meredith.

Wife, mama, and psychologist - here to help you master potty training basics in a timely manner.

I have worked in the mental health field for 15 years, and more specifically providing caregiver coaching for the last 6 years. I have a PhD in School Psychology from University of Cincinnati, a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and a master’s degree in Social Work (lots of school!). I completed an APA-accredited internship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and post-doctoral fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. My experience with toilet training began with families of children with autism and developmental disabilities and has since expanded to include families and children of all ages and abilities.

Through my experience, I have grown to love coaching caregivers through their child’s potty learning process. Sometimes it’s a breeze and other times it’s a bit tricky, but I’m here to help!

I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned and been working on to help you achieve the magnificent milestone of a potty trained child!
